Beverly Man Sentenced For Armed Robberies, Recruiting Teens to Commit Crimes

Beverly man admitted to recruiting teens to commit crimes, in exchange for a place to live.

A Beverly man was sentenced to serve one year of a 2 1/2-year jail term with three years of probation, after admitting to several armed robberies in the city in 2010, the Salem News reported.

Shaun Levesque, 31, pleaded guilty to charges of armed robbery, armed robbery while masked, attempted armed robbery, assault with a dangerous weapon, and breaking and entering, at Tedeschi on Cabot Street, and Century Bank on Rantoul Street. 

Levesque also admitted to recruiting teens to commit crimes, in exchange for a place to live, the outlet reported.
