Beverly Named One of The Safest Cities in America
Beverly was one of the top 100 safest cities in America in a new ranking.

BEVERLY, MA – A new ranking puts Beverly in the top 100 safest cities in America. The Garden City lands between two Rhode Island cities at 78.
The data found that Beverly sees 1.53 violent crimes and 9.13 property crimes per 1,000 residents, making it more safe than 67 percent of the cities in the U.S.
Here's a look at the safest neighborhoods in Beverly. Dark blue (Ryal Side) represents the lowest crime rates, while gray (downtown Beverly) represents higher, according to Neighborhood Scout.

According to the report, someone has a 1 in 654 chance of being a victim of violent crime in Beverly, compared to 1 in 256 in the state. The Neighborhood Scout ranking is based on the number of total crimes reported to the FBI and the population of each city.
Neighborhood Scout only included cities with 25,000 or more people. According to the report, Beverly has a lower crime rate than other cities of similar sizes.
