Beverly New Year's 2021 Celebration Goes Virtual In 2020

Beverly will ring in 2021 virtually this year due to the coronavirus health crisis.

BEVERLY, MA — Beverly residents eager to waive goodbye to 2020 can do it virtually this year with the city's family-friendly celebration going remote on New Year's Eve for the first time in its 27 years.

The free virtual event will run from 7 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 31.

Rainforest Reptiles will have an animal presentation, and there will be readings, yoga, dance, arts and crafts demos, and more.

The finale will include a kids' countdown virtual countdown and virtual beach ball drop.

Those who attend can win a free gift to a downtown business.
