Beverly Police Respond to Roll-Over Accident on Cabot Street

The following is an excerpt from tbe Beverly Police Department's log: 


Friday, April 25:

  • At 4:11 p.m., police made an arrest on Story Avenue. Denison M. Novas-Avila, 18, of 60 Story Ave., Beverly, was arrested for reportedly having two outstanding warrants.
  • At 7:23 p.m., police responded to a past assault on Federal Street.
  • At 10:15 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on McKay Street.
  • At 10:21 p.m., police dispersed a large group in a park on South Hardy Street.

Saturday, April 26:

  • At 12:42 a.m., police responded to a report of disorderly conduct on Porter Street.
  • At 10:26 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Cornell Road.
  • At 12:23 p.m., police responded to a solicitation complaint on Giles Avenue.
  • At 12:33 p.m., a Rowell Avenue resident called police to report past malicious damage to a motor vehicle.
  • At 1:05 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Porter Street.
  • At 4:16 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Hull Street.
  • At 8:40 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Cabot Street.
  • At 8:46 p.m., police responded to a complaint regarding the railroad gates on Elliott Street.
  • At 11:28 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Pierce Avenue.

Sunday, April 27: 

  • At 10:09 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Cabot and Conant streets.
  • At 11:15 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Elliott Street.
  • At 1:13 p.m., police responded to a complaint regarding the railroad gates near the intersection of Elliott and Beckford streets.
  • At 5:44 p.m., police responded to a past vehicle break-in on Cabot Street.
  • At 5:51 p.m., police made an arrest on Cabot Street. Robert A. Waylein, 31, of 202 Rantoul St., Beverly, was arrested for reportedly having two outstanding warrants.
  • At 7:19 p.m., police responded to a roll-over motor vehicle accident on Cabot Street.
  • At 11:56 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Elliott Street.

Monday, April 28: 

  • At 10:01 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian on Dodge Street.
  • At 10:08 a.m., police responded to a reported open container violation near the intersection of Rantoul and Bow streets. John J. McKenna, 47, of 202 Rantoul St., Beverly, was arrested on a charge of violating the city ordinance pertaining to open containers.
  • At 1:11 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Rantoul and Federal streets.
  • At 1:13 p.m., police responded to a report of a downed wire on Dodge Street.
Arrests

George P. Davekos, 61, of 21 Atlantic Ave., Beverly, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.

Joseph M George, 48, of the streets of Beverly, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Kelsey L. Spilman, 18, of 6 Home St., Beverly, was arrested for reportedly having two outstanding warrants.

Rashard J. Willis, 32, of 107 Rockaway St., Lynn, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license and refusing to identify himself.

Nicholas M. Lovasco, 26, of 49 Parramatta Road, Beverly, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
