Police: 'Animal Hoarding' Complaint on Rantoul Street

The following is an excerpt from the Beverly Police Department's log: 

Monday, June 2: 

  • At 4:43 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Cox Court.
  • At 5:05 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Cabot Street.
  • At 6:36 p.m., police responded to a report of an oven fire on Wirling Drive.
  • At 6:38 p.m., police conducted a well-being check near the intersection of Cabot and Charles streets.
  • At 6:54 p.m., police responded to a parking complaint on Cedar Street.
  • At 7:56 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Rantoul Street.
  • At 9:20 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Conant Street.
  • At 9:35 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity near the intersection of Lothrop and Dane streets.
  • At 9:40 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Beckford Street.
  • At 10:18 p.m., police responded to a possible fight on Whitney Avenue.
  • At 10:35 p.m., police responded to a report of a past assault on Beckford Street.

Tuesday, June 3:

  • At 2:05 a.m., police responded to a report of an unwanted guest on Hilltop Drive.
  • At 6:07 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Balch Street.
  • At 6:13 a.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Rantoul Street.
  • At 9:04 a.m., police responded to a past assault on Hale Street.
  • At 11:36 a.m., police investigated a report of "possible animal hoarding" near the intersection of Rantoul and Home streets.
  • At 11:40 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Cabot Street and Longview Drive.
  • At 1:57 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Beverly Commons Drive.
  • At 2:41 p.m., police responded to a report of a stolen bike on Park Street. 

Arrests

Jason S. Ball, 41, of 19 Beckford St., Beverly, was arrested on charges of trespassing and intimidating a witness.

Eric B. Butler, 28, of 26 Summer St., Gloucester, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. 

Jennifer R. Lynch, 42, of 19 Beckford St., Beverly, was arrested for reportedly having three outstanding warrants.
