Beverly Police Make Drug Arrest on Bridge Street

The following is an excerpt from the Beverly Police Department's log: 


Sunday, May 11:

  • At 6:16 p.m., police responded to a hit-and-run motor vehicle on Essex Street.
  • At 6:30 p.m., police made an arrest on Bridge Street.
  • At 8:03 p.m., a resident on Gage Street called police to report that their tires had been slashed.
  • At 8:46 p.m., police responded to a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident on Park Street.
  • At 10:34 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Essex Street.
  • At 11:15 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on East Street.
  • At 11:19 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Cabot Street.

Monday, May 12: 

  • At 3:33 a.m., police responded to a report of a woman screaming on Bridge Street.
  • At 7:29 a.m., police responded to a past larceny on Pinehurst Avenue.
  • At 7:45 a.m., police responded to a report of vandalism on Essex Street.
  • At 8:17 a.m., police made an arrest at the intersection of Bridge Street and Livingstone Avenue. Jessica A. Savory, 35, of 51 Simon St., Beverly, was arrested on a charge of illegally possessing a class B substance.
  • At 8:49 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Elliott Street.
  • At 9:09 a.m., police responded to a report of wires down near the intersection of Standley and Groce streets.
  • At 11:55 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on Elliott Street.

Arrest

Mark A. Cushing, 40, of 5 Trask Court, Beverly, was arrested on charges of violating an abuse prevention order, malicious destruction of property valued above $250, receiving stolen property valued above $250 and illegally possessing a class E substance.
