Beverly Police Searching for People's United Bank Robber

The following is an excerpt from the Beverly Police Department's log: 

Friday, May 9: 

  • At 8:07 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Colon Street.
  • At 1:34 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Essex Street.
  • At 2:11 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Cummings Center Drive.
  • At 2:11 p.m., police responded to a past larceny on Ober Street.
  • At 3:48 p.m., a Giles Avenue resident called police to report coming home to an unlocked door.
  • At 3:53 p.m., police responded to an unattended death on Arthur Street Court.
  • At 5:43 p.m., police conducted a well-being check near the intersection of Ropes and Grant streets.
  • At 7:58 p.m., police responded to a fireworks complaint on Juniper Valley Court.

Saturday, May 10: 

  • At 2:55 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on Dodge Street.
  • At 3:26 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Dodge Street.
  • At 12:54 p.m., police responded to a bank hold up at People's United Bank on Dodge Street in Beverly. A male suspect wearing a black hoodie and ski mask reported entered the bank, demanded money and then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. There was no weapon shown.
  • At 1:29 p.m., police responded to a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Goat Hill Lane and Cabot Street.
  • At 3:39 p.m., police responded to a report of a ladder in the road on Rt. 128 North.
  • At 5:24 p.m., police responded to a loud house party on Chase Street.
  • At 6:51 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on River Street.
  • At 9:49 p.m., police responded to a reported fight in the street on Elliott Street.
  • At 11:07 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Dondi Road.

Sunday, May 11: 

  • At 12:43 a.m., police responded to a past larceny on Brimbal Avenue
  • At 1:54 a.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Putnam Street.
  • At 2:32 a.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Bartlett Street.
  • At 4:09 a.m., police responded to a disturbance on Bartlett Street.
  • At 8:59 a.m., police responded to a past larceny on Lowell Street.
  • At 11:51 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a police cruiser on Stewart Avenue.
  • At 12:18 p.m., police responded to a possible drug overdose on Rantoul Street.
  • At 12:31 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Cabot Street.
  • At 1:35 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Rantoul Street.
Arrests

James F. O'Rourke, 46, of 276 Rantoul St., Beverly, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, trespassing and threatening to commit a crime.

Vanessa M. Grande, 22, of 6 Radcliff Road, Beverly, was arrested for reportedly having four outstanding warrants.

William Turner, 25, of 41 Elliott St., Beverly, was arrested on charges of disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct.

Asair Brav Jr., 24, of 28 Bartlett St., Beverly, was arrested on a charge of disturbing the peace.

Joseph Quinones, 45, of the streets of Beverly, was arrested on a charge of breaking and entering during the daytime to commit a felony.

John J. Russo, 22, of 24 Arthur St., Beverly, was arrested on charges of violating city ordinances pertaining to knives and drinking in public.
