Friday, May 2: 

  • At 4:10 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Cabot Street.
  • At 4:40 pm., police responded to a report of downed wires on Shortell Avenue.
  • At 4:46 p.m., police responded to a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident on Beckford Street.
  • At 7:25 p.m., a man called police to report finding a diamond ring at Lynch Park.
  • At 8:42 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Hale Street.
  • At 9:14 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Broughton Drive.
  • At 9:29 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Lyman Street.
  • At 9:37 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Hart Street.

Saturday, May 3: 

  • At 12:18 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Rantoul Street.
  • At 3:06 a.m., police responded to a complaint regarding the railroad gates on Elliott Street.
  • At 4:07 a.m., police responded to a report of a suspicious motor vehicle near the intersection of Rantoul and Bow streets. A citation was issued for marijuana possession.
  • At 11:11 a.m., police responded to a report of a man asking people strange questions near the intersection of Grover Street and Middlebury Lane.
  • At 11:37 a.m., police attempted to serve a warrant on Bosworth Street.
  • At 3:58 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Rantoul Street.
  • At 6:37 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Opal Avenue.
  • At 7:40 p.m., police responded to a heroin overdose on Cabot Street.
  • At 8:05 p.m., police responded to a strong odor of gas near the intersection of Brimbal Avenue and Colon Street.
  • At 10:16 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Cabot Street.

Sunday, May  4: 

  • At 1:51 a.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Haskell Street.
  • At 4:40 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on Brimbal Avenue.
  • At 9:18 a.m., police responded to a report of a large piece of metal in the roadway on Cabot Street.
  • At 11:04 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Dane and Knowlton streets.
  • At 1:40 p.m., police responded to a report of wires down on Arlington Avenue.
  • At 1:41 p.m., police responded to a report of an erratic operator on Rantoul Street.
  • At 1:56 pm.., police responded to a report of vandalism on Lanthorn Lane.
  • At 2:58 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on River Street.
  • At 4:03 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Rantoul Street.
Arrests

Philip M. DaSilva, 22, of 90 Endicott St., Peabod, was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

William D. Simons, 37, of 490 Rantoul St., Beverly, was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Cesar Tovias, 51, of 56 River St., Beverly, was arrested on a charge of violating the city's open container ordinance.

Anthony W. Lynch, 32, of 279 Maple St., Lynn, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.

Sean R. McCarthy, 29, of 6 Tozer Road, Beverly, was arrested on a charge of assault and battery.
