Beverly Police Officers, Firefighters Assist With Delivery of Baby
Local emergency responders went 'above and beyond' Sunday night.
The following announcement was issued by the Beverly Police Department Tuesday evening:
Beverly Police Officers Mark Panjwani and Matthew Marino assisted in the delivery of a baby on Sunday night.
At approximately 10:30 p.m., officers Panjwani and Marino along with members of the Beverly Fire Department and Northeast Ambulance Service responded to a Hillcrest Avenue residence for a report of a woman in active labor.Â

Upon arrival all personnel assisted in the delivery of a healthy baby.Â
