Beverly Police Welcome 2 New Officers To Force
The Beverly Police Department has welcomed new officers Nicole Bencal and Amanda Cecchini to the department in recent weeks.
BEVERLY, MA — Beverly police will have a pair of new faces on the beat this spring.
The department welcomed two new officers to the department in recent weeks.
Officer Amanda Cecchini started with Beverly police this week as the first daughter to ever work with her father in the history of Beverly police.

Cecchini's father, Steve, is an officer on the midnight shift.
Cecchini will also go through several weeks of in-house training before being assigned to the patrol division.

Nicole Bencal joined the department in early March after graduating from the 32nd ROC at the Reading Police Academy.
She was to begin the midnight shift following a few weeks of in-house training.
