Beverly Restaurant Closes Over Coronavirus Concerns

After a worker tested positive, the owner suspended operations to clean his restaurants in Beverly and Boston.

BEVERLY, MA — A&B Burgers closed its locations in Boston and Beverly after an employee tested positive for the new coronavirus.

In a Facebook post, the restaurant said the locations will be cleaned during the temporary closure. A&B Burgers has stayed open for takeout service and has also been donating meals to health care and other front-line workers during the coronavirus crisis.

The worker, who has not shown symptoms, last had contact with coworkers May 19. The post did not specify which location the employee worked at.
