Beverly Students Earn Honors At Bryant, Hofstra, Holy Cross
These Beverly students are among those earning academic or athletic distinction this fall.
BEVERLY, MA — A total of 1,453 students were named to College of the Holy Cross' Dean's List for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2020-21 academic year.
The following Beverly students made the list: Joseph Martin, a member of the Class of 2024, majoring in history; Lillian Connors, a member of the Class of 2024, undeclared; Eliza Kerivan, a member of the class of 2024, majoring in neuroscience.
To qualify for the Dean's List at Holy Cross students must pass four or more letter-graded courses with no failing grades during the semester and earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Victoria Schacht, of Beverly, graduated from the University of New Hampshire in December 2020. She earned a bachelor's of science degree in biology.
Wheaton College student Savannah Panjwani, of Beverly, was named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2020 semester.

To earn Dean's List honors at Wheaton, an undergraduate student must carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade-point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.
Abigail Elizabeth McGovern, of Beverly, was named to Husson University's Honors List for the Fall 2020 semester.
McGovern is a sophomore who is currently enrolled in Husson's bachelor of science in exercise science/doctor of physical therapy program.
Students who make the Honors List must carry at least 12 graded credit hours during the semester and earn a grade point average of 3.4 to 3.59 during the period.
The following Beverly students earned Dean's List distinction at Becker College. The Dean's List recognizes all full-time students (24 or more credit hours earned for the academic year; 12 minimum each semester (September through May) whose term grade point average is 3.50 or higher with no grade below a B- and no incomplete (I) or withdrawal/failing (WF) grades.
Elizabeth Nicolaysen, of Beverly, is pursuing a bachelor of arts in interactive media, game arts; Carbini Thebaud, of Beverly, is pursuing a bachelor of science in nursing.
The George Institute of Technology awarded degrees to approximately 3,800 undergraduate and graduate students during the fall semester.
Nathaniel Gould, of Beverly, earned a bachelor of science in computer science; John Thompson, of Beverly, earned a doctor of philosophy.
The following Beverly students earned Dean's List recognition for the Fall 2020 semester at Bryant University:
Gabriel Humdy, Class of 2024; Jake Cooper, Class of 2022; Amanda Rosenberger, Class of 2021; Kathryn Cafferty, Class of 2021; Kimberly Way, Class of 2024, Shelby DeGrenier, Class of 2024; Abby Murphy, Class of 2021.
The following Beverly students made the Dean's List at Hofstra University: Olivia DiPietro, Alison Estey and Abbey-Lyn Muise.
Lauren White, of Beverly, was named to the Dean's List at the University of Delaware.
Chrisstopher Morse, of Beverly, was named to the Hamilton College Dean's List. A first-year student, Morse is a graduate of Phillips Academy.
Clark Marchard, of Beverly, was named to the American International Dean's List as a full-time student with at least a 3.3 GPA.
Stephanie MacLeod, of Beverly, was named to the Dean's List at Roger Williams for earning a 3.4 GPA or higher while taking at least 12 course credits.
Miranda Urbanski, a Lasell University student from Beverly, was a contributor to a public art display "The Gratitude Garden" as part of a First-Year Seminar course "The Spark of Creativity," led by Assistant Professor Deborah Baldizar.
The intention of the Gratitude Garden, per Baldizar, is to bring the Lasell community together and remind them that there is still much to be grateful for, even in trying times of disconnect and isolation.
Urbanski was among the students who sought out responses from the community and shared them as part of the public display. Responses were written on fabric donated by Lasell's School of Fashion and strung up between trees on campus as a visual reminder of hope and positivity. The Gratitude Garden will remain up through the beginning of this semester.
