Beverly Students Honored At Bentley, Bryant, SNHU, St. Lawrence

These Beverly students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinction.

BEVERLY, MA —Abby Murphy, of Beverly, will receive the Northeast Human Resources Association Management Department Commencement Award at the Bryant University commencement ceremony on Saturday.

This award recognizes three graduating seniors with a concentration in human resources management. These individuals have demonstrated academic excellence in HRM, active engagement with human resources practitioners, and a passion for a career in the profession.

Murphy will graduate with honors (Magna Cum Laude) with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a concentration in Human Resource Management.

Tori Vivenzio, of Beverly, has been named to the Bentley University President's List for the spring 2021 trimester.

The President's List is the highest distinction Bentley confers for academic excellence in a single term. To earn this distinction, students must achieve a 3.7 grade-point average with no grade below 3.0.

Vivenzio graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bentley on May 1.

Several Beverly students earned winter 2021 President's List honors at Southern New Hampshire University.

Full-time students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above are named to the President's List.

The President's List honorees were: Ryan Knight, Joshua Spitaleri, Emily Rolinger, Jordan Butters, Tanya Buckley, Kayla Beaulieu, Bryce Caron, Jessica Frazier, Michael Petrillo and Sydney Emond.

Emily L. Aldrich, of Beverly, was one of the more than 450 members of St. Lawrence University's Class of 2021 who earned their degree following the university's commencement ceremonies on April 18 at Newell Field House in Canton, New York.

Aldrich graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and business in the liberal arts. Aldrich attended Beverly High School.

Isabel Smallman, of Beverly, graduated from The University of Tampa on May 8. Smallman graduated with a master's of science in marketing.

The virtual commencement ceremony included 1,781 undergraduate and graduate candidates.

Ian Roy qualified for the spring 2021 Dean's List at Belmont University. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.

Approximately 53 percent of Belmont's 6,170 undergraduate students qualified for the Spring 2021 Dean's List. Belmont Provost Dr. Thomas Burns said: "Students achieving the Dean's List recognition at Belmont have clearly demonstrated enormous commitment to their educational endeavors — they have invested deeply in their studies and in their future.

"We are happy to celebrate their success and know that their continued, consistent and comprehensive dedication to their academic work will equip them to embrace future opportunities to engage and transform our world."

Beverly students were among those initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

Sarah Kennedy, Leidy Marrero and Liam Setzer were inducted at Salem State University.

Pingree School announced its honor roll recipients for the second trimester of the 2020-2021 academic year.

Honor Roll is calculated at the end of each trimester on the basis of the grades earned during that trimester only. Students in the top 10% of each class earn high honors; students in the second 10 percent of each class earn honors; students in the third 10 percent of each class are placed on the Head of School's list.

The following Beverly students earned distinction: Ella Greenfield, high honor roll, Kelly Blundin, honor roll, Rick Li, Head of School's list, Josh Klee, high honor roll, Olivia Robertson, honor roll, Ashley DuKatz, honor roll.
