Beverly Traffic Alert: Gloucester Crossing Closure

The railroad intersection at Gloucester Crossing will be closed the weekend of July 29.

BEVERLY, MA – The railroad intersection at Gloucester Crossing is expected to be closed the weekend of July 29.

The closure will be from July 29 to July 30, according to a post on the Rantoul Street/1A Reconstruction Project. It's the last weekend Middlesex Corp. plans on working on the weekend, and the last time full lane closure are scheduled for work in the area.

The final phase of full depth reconstruction between Pond and Elliott streets – which is expected to be paved in the next couple weeks – marks the end of that type of work for the project.
