Beverly Updates Cabot Street Construction For This Week
Cabot Street to be closed to all traffic from Pond Street to Federal Street Monday and Tuesday, with single-lane access Thursday and Friday.
BEVERLY, MA — The Cabot Street Project resumed in Beverly this week with a schedule that includes two days of detours and two days of single-lane travel restrictions.
The project — which was suspended during part of the coronavirus health crisis — resumed on Monday with the grinding off of the top layer of asphalt and traffice detours.
Traffic will be detoured off Cabot Street during Tuesday as well at Pond Street and Bow Street for leveling and grading work.

There will be full access to the street on Wednesday.
One lane of traffic will be open Thursday and Friday during the lowering of manhole covers and storm drains.

Lane closures are determined through on-site police observations based on safety. The construction schedule is subject to change based on weather and other factors.
