Beverly's Super Chicken To Close For Good After 20 Years

The Rantoul Street restaurant owners said a "new concept" will be coming to the space soon.

BEVERLY, MA — Those eager to make one final trip to Super Chicken on Rantoul Street have a few more days before the owners said the restaurant is closing for good after 20 years.

The owners said on their Facebook page that the restaurant's final day open will be Friday.

They said: "new owners with a new concept will be coming soon."

Owners added that while it was a difficult decision to make, it is the best one for the family at this time.

"It is with a heavy heart to say goodbye," the owners said. "We will miss all of our loyal and valued customers. We thank you for your business and support.

"Thank you for become such an important part of our lives forever and our hearts. We have been lucky to be part of this great city of Beverly along with all the other amazing restaurants and all the mutual respect and support for each other throughout the years."

The owners also thanked several neighboring businesses on Rantoul Street and the downtown area.

"Thanks for making our neighborhood so much brighter each day," they said. "So many we want to mention but then this post will go on for days."

As of Wednesday morning, there were nearly 200 comments expressing their appreciation for the restaurant and disappointment in its closing.
