Trash & Recycling must be out by 7:00 am on your scheduled trash day regardless of the time the trucks usually come
Trash & Recycling shall be put out for collection no earlier than 18 hours prior to collection & barrels removed 18 hours after collection per
Residential Storage of Rubbish & Garbage City Ordinance Section 244-3
Recycling is collected every week on your trash day (there is no limit to the amount of properly secured recycling placed curbside)
Yard waste is only collected during weeks marked with a leaf symbol ON YOUR TRASH DAY when placed in paper sacks or open barrels and placed near your trash and recycling by 7:00 am. There is NO LIMIT to the amount properly placed curbside
Yard waste may also be taken to our Standley Street Yard Waste Compost Site located at 16 Standley Street during Peak Season & Winter Hours
Peak Season Hours: M, Th, Sat, 8:00 am - 3:30 pm, March 1 (unless late snow cover) through December 23 (unless early heavy snow)
Winter Hours: Thursdays only beginning January 7 through February 25 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
