Ellis Square Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Set

The redesigned Ellis Square is ready to be formally introduced to the public.

BEVERLY, MA – The city and Beverly Main Streets are holding a ribbon cutting to formally showcase the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Plaza at One Ellis Square.

The ribbon cutting will be on Friday, July 28, at 5 p.m. The new Vietnam Veterans Memorial is in the design state, and will be installed in the plaza next year, according to a post on the Beverly Main Streets website.

Work on the plaza began in fall 2016 with the intention of transforming the concrete area into something that looks more like a community park.
