Endicott College Alum Makes Debut As Miami Marlins Announcer

Paul Severino, who spent his college years in Beverly, called his first regular season game as the voice of the Miami Marlins Thursday.

BEVERLY, MA -- If you tuned into the Cubs-Marlins game Thursday afternoon while waiting for the Red Sox to start their 2018 campaign at 4 pm, you may have recognized a familiar voice. Paul Severino, who graduated from Endicott College in 2015, was calling his first regular season game as the new play-by-play announcer for the Miami Marlins on FOX Sports Florida.

Sverino -- whose bio on the Marlins Website lists him as a "proud graduate of Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts" -- was previously a play-by-play announcer for MLB Network game telecasts, including MLB Network Showcase and the World Baseball Classic.
