Endicott College Makes ESPN's SportsCenter
An improbable last-second comeback earned the Gulls' QB and coach some face-time on ESPN Sunday morning.
BEVERLY, MA — The 'E' in ESPN isn't for Endicott College. But Sunday morning, the Beverly school made an appearance on ESPN's SportsCenter AM after a last-minute comeback drive was capped by an answered prayer in the end zone as time expired.
The Gulls clawed their way to a 29-28 victory over Bridgewater State despite trailing by 6 with 45 seconds left. Quarterback Joe Kalosky engineered a special drive that culminated in a long touchdown heave. Kalosku and coach Kevin DeWall then spent Sunday morning on ESPN — not bad for a small Division 3 school on the North Shore.
