Endicott College Voted #2 Beach School

Endicott's oceanfront campus on Hale Street is getting nationwide recognition.

The college was ranked the number two college in America for beach lovers, according to a list on About.com.

"These beaches are exclusively for student use and conveniently located across the street from the main portion of campus," the website says.

Endicott joins colleges including Eckerd and Flagler College in Florida, Mitchell College in Connecticut, Monmouth University in New Jersey, and Pepperdine University in California.

In response to the news, and today's chilly forecast, Endicott College's Twitter page said "And yes, the irony of posting about gorgeous beaches & 10-degree weather is not lost. The memories of those good beach days keep us going!"
