Fight Reported on MBTA Train, Man Jumped on Elliott Street

The following is an excerpt from the Beverly Police Department:
Monday, Jan. 28
- At 12:10 a.m. police were called to Brimbal Avenue and Colon Street on report of a person throwing Christmas trees out of a truck. When police arrived the individual was gone; the trees were moved to the roadside.
- A jogger in the middle of the street was reported to police as suspicious activity in the Elliott Street-Cressy Avenue area at 4:33 a.m. Police did not locate the person in question.
- A disturbance was reported on the MBTA commuter rail while in Beverly at 2:23 p.m. The two involved were escorted off the train for fair evasion and creating a disturbance.
- A woman returned an envelope of money found at the post office at 5:44 p.m.
- Police were called to a neighbor dispute at 6:43 p.m. on Park Street.
- Police were called to Essex Street at 7:34 p.m. because a resident was concerned that he/she hadn't seen his neighbor in more than a week. Police checked on the neighbor in question, who they said was fine.
- Police were called to Federal Street on report of man stumbling in the area at 7:39 p.m. Police escorted the man to his residence.

- Police were called to Sunset Drive on report of a child locked accidentally in a vehicle at 7:09 a.m. Police said the caller was able to gain entry into her home to retrieve the keys prior to their arrival.
- At 10:24 a.m. police were called to Park Street on report of a domestic disturbance. The two people in question left the area.
- At 3:48 p.m. police were called to Elliott Street on report of malicious damage to a vehicle. Reports stated a youth punched a car in the parking lot.
- A neighbor dispute over an apartment lease was reported to police from Hale Street at 4:54 p.m.Â
- At 6:03 p.m. an incident of road rage was reported. Police said the vehicle was beeping the car horn excessively while another car was parked at the curb waiting to pick someone up.Â
- A male reported being jumped by a group of males on Elliott Street at 6:56 p.m. The incident happened outside Stop & Shop.Â
- At 7:49 p.m. police arrested Jamie Lee Primus, 24, of 59 Federal St., on four warrant charges and Richard Card, 25, of 345 Locust St. in Nashua, NH, on two warrant charges.
- At 10:05 p.m. police arrested David Testa, 58, of 12 Pickett Street, on two warrant charges.
