Five or Six Bags of Cocaine Reported on Beverly Sidewalk

The following is an excerpt from the Beverly Police log:Â
Tuesday, Sept. 25
- Two males were reported arguing outside on Bartlett Street at 4:31 p.m. They were gone when police arrived.Â
- Police were dispatched to Glidden Street at 5:52 p.m. on report of a possible break-in in progress. Police said everything was in order.Â
- Police checked The Pickled Onion, Sports Page Pub, Kitty O'Sheas, Anchor, Fibber McGee's and Spotlight Tavern for overcrowding, overservice and underage drinking at 9 p.m. Fibber McGees was reported to have had two underage parties with fake Connecticut IDs.Â
- A vehicle accident sent four men to Beverly Hospital, after a car reportedly hit a pole on Elliott Street at 11:53 p.m. Police said criminal charges will be filed.Â

- A vehicle was reported vandalized on Courtney Drive at 9:18 a.m.
- Police were dispatched to the area of Chase and Judson Street at 10:34 a.m. on report of 'five to six bags of cocaine on the sidewalk.' The officer reported finding only empty glassine bags at the location.
- At 8:35 p.m. police arrested Wendy Duval, 36, of 21 Portland Street, on charges of operating with a suspended license and an equipment violation. Â Â
- Police dispersed a loud group in the playground on Gage Street at 9:58 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 27
- A hit and run was reported on Rantoul Street at 12:12 a.m. Police arrested Eric Barbeau, 27, of 19 Beacon St. in Salem, on charges of leaving the scene of property damage.Â
- Plants were reported stolen on West Street at 9:56 a.m.
- Police were called to Baker Avenue at 11:24 a.m. on report of three youths suspiciously looking into yards.Â
- Jada McDonald, 41, of 101 Rantoul St., was arrested at 12:45 p.m. on charges of negligent operation of a vehicle, no inspection sticker, failing to stop for a police officer, disorderly conduct, harsh objectional, and failure to submit.Â
- A Herrick Street garage was broken into at 1:23 p.m.
