Underage Drinker, Disorderly Man Arrested at The Anchor on St. Patrick's Day

The following is an excerpt from the Beverly Police Department activity logs:

Friday, March 15

  • Two men were reported removing scrap metal from the Beverly Golf and Tennis Club at 4:37 p.m. Alexander Harvey, 23, of 1 Saunders Rd. in Lynnfield, was arrested on warrant charges. 
  • A possible theft of an i-Pad was reported on Lothrop Street at 6:51 p.m.
  • Police were called to Bridge Street at 11:30 p.m. on report of an argument between a brother and sister. By the time police arrived the fight had calmed down.

Saturday, March 16

  • A head-on collision was reported on Rantoul Street at 1:05 a.m., involving a potential driver operating under the influence. 
  • A person reported being assaulted at a party following a fight on Judson Street at 1:25 a.m.
  • A caller reported his/her vehicle being stuck on railroad tracks  Dodge Street at 1:57 a.m. The car was pulled off by a tow truck.
  • At 2:08 p.m. police arrested Andrew Toledo, 32, of 17 Gage St., on charges of domestic assault and battery. 
  • A vehicle was reported vandalized at 1:58 p.m. on Broughton Drive.
  • At 4:48 p.m. a man reportedly threatened another man who was in the crosswalk with a gun. The man in question of having a gun was frisked, but police determined he did not have one present.
  • A young man called police and reported being robbed in the area of Dane and Essex Street at 5:52, and then proceeded to hang up on police. When they searched the area he was not found.
  • Police assisted as medical aid while an ambulance transported a man on Lenox Street to the hospital after he told them he ingested psilocybin mushrooms at 6:58 p.m.

Sunday, March 17

  • A drunken man was reported knocking on doors on Bow Street at 1:25 a.m., telling them he was 'trying to make friends.'
  • Four vehicles were reported broken into on Cox Court between 3:08 and 3:46 a.m.
  • Kids throwing water balloons were reported on Rantoul Street at 1:23 p.m. Police checked the area but did not locate them.
  • Police were called to McKay Street at 2:27 p.m. on report of a suspicious girl walking down the street with a suitcase. Police spoke to her, but determined she was just walking home from a sleepover.
  • Police were called to a May Street residence at 2:30 p.m. on report of an intoxicated female calling the Vermont State Police.
  • A vehicle was reported vandalized at 4:06 p.m. on Central Street. 
  • A home invasion was reported on Rantoul Street at 5 p.m. 
  • At 6:10 p.m. police were made aware of a man who had run from a yard on Atlantic Avenue. No vandalism or break-in attempt was reported.
  • At 10:35 p.m. police arrested two patrons at the Anchor Restaurant. Lauren House, 20, of 9 Day Ave. in Danvers, was arrested on charges of possession of liquor under 21, and Thomas Wagone, 22, of 18 Hillcrest Rd. was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.
