BEVERLY, MA — Beverly drivers are advised to bring some patience if they are traveling in the area of the Hall-Whitaker Drawbridge Thursday afternoon.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said the bridge will be open for about 30 minutes at about 2 p.m.

Traffic will be stopped at that time and drivers are asked to avoid the area, if possible.
