HGTV Looking To Cast North Shore Farmhouse Owner
Own a farmhouse on the North Shore that needs renovations? HGTV and a New Kid On The Block are looking for you.

BEVERLY, MA — HGTV is casting on the North Shore for 'Farmhouse Fixer,' a new show co-hosted by renovation expert Jonathan Knight and local designer Kristina Crestin. The show's hosts will work with farmhouse owners in New England to add modern conveniences while preserving the historical aspects of the home. And yes, it's the same Jonathan Knight who is better known as a member of New Kids On The Block.
HGTV said it is looking for homes built before 1950 with an existing renovation budget of $150,000. The homes need to be located within 50 miles of Ipswich and owners need to be willing to move out while work is underway. Renovations will target four or five spaces in each home.
Filming has already begun on the six-episode, first season of 'Farmhouse Fixer.' The first episode will premiere later this year. For more information and to have your home considered, see the casting call.
