Ice Bucket Challenge Co-Creator Pete Frates Returns Home
Frates tweeted on Wednesday night that it was good to be home after a hospital stay.

BEVERLY, MA – After a publicized hospital stay earlier this month, the man who inspired people around the world to dump ice water over themselves to raise money for Lou Gehrig's disease research is back home.
Pete Frates tweeted that it was good to be home on Wednesday, along with a picture of himself surrounded by loved ones.

Some news outlets falsely reported that the Beverly native had passed away when he returned to the hospital. Frates responded by tweeting a video of himself accompanied by the Pearl Jam song "Alive."
