iPads Reported Stolen at Cummings Center, Intoxicated Man Throws Furniture

The following is an excerpt from the Beverly Police Department:
Wednesday, Jan. 23:
- At 4:28 a.m. police were called to the area of Lothrop Street and Wilson Avenue on report of residents complaining about a loud silver Honda operating in the area around the same time every day. Police did not observe the suspected vehicle at the time.Â
- A building under construction was broken into on Mill Street at 7:01 a.m.
- A vehicle was reported stolen on River Street at 9:26 a.m.
- Tools were reported stolen on River Street at 10:20 a.m.
- Two iPads were reported stolen at the Cummings Center at 5:21 p.m. The situation is still under investigation.
- At 6:56 p.m. police were called to Lovett Street on report of a man reportedly 'jumping on signs and punching cars.' The man told police he was going through a tough divorce.

- Police were called to Hathaway Avenue at 4:29 a.m. on report of a car alarm sounding in the area. Police discovered the car horn was frozen on. Police spoke to the owner, who was able to disable the horn.Â
- A cell phone was reported stolen from a public bathroom on Elliott Street at 12 p.m.
- At 1:19 p.m. police were called to Beverly Hospital on report of an unruly patient in the E.R.Â
- A man was struck by a vehicle on Cabot Street at 1:49 p.m. He was transported to the hospital.
- Police were called to Pratt Avenue on report of a person who 'heard a loud bang' at 2:23 p.m. Police discovered a section of a vinyl fencing had blown down in the driveway.
- A man with a service dog was reported to police as going door to door asking for money at 3:11 p.m. on Cabot Street. Police transported the man back to his residence.
- Police were called to Temi Road at 6:25 p.m. on report of activity going on in a vacant house. Police walked through the house, which was empty, with those who reported the activity, and all appeared in order.
- Police were called to Beverly Commons Drive at 9:06 p.m. on report of a possible domestic dispute. The people in question were two teenage girls who were horsing around and got too loud. Police advised them to keep the noise down.Â
- At 9:31 p.m. police were called to Cabot Street on report of an intoxicated man throwing furniture.
Friday, Jan. 25
- At 12:40 a.m. police were called to Matthies Street on report of people yelling in the street. Police arrested Ryan Trickett, of 81 Glendale Sr. in Everett on violation of the city's knife ordinance.
- Police were called to a church on Ocean Street on report of a man possibly sleeping at 5:09 a.m. Police arrested Charles Brown, 46, of 54 River St., on charges of trespassing, breaking and entering for misdemeanor, and a warrant charge.
- Tires were reported slashed on a vehicle on Manor Road at 6:54 a.m.
- Police were called to Lenox Street at 12:04 p.m. on report of threatening phone calls.Â
