Local parent finds needles while bringing child to local school!
A local mother found needles on a main street sidewalk while walking her child to school this week.

On September 7th, 2018 a local mother Jenny Ledford posted to Facebook that a friend of hers was walking her 12 year old daughter to school when she stumbled upon a sidewalk filled with used needles and trash. The needles were located on Cabot St near the entrance to the Balch street park and the rear entrance to the Beverly High School fields. It's shocking to find that these items are being found so close to the new middle school which just opened up the street less than a half mile from the Balch street park. Have you encountered areas of Beverly where you have found needles or other drug debris? Send any photos or locations to us at Mark.BeverlyPatch@gmail.com and we will alert others on where these have been found. If you find any needles along your route or in your path please contact the Beverly Police at 978-922-1212 and they will send a unit to remove these items.
