Major Fuel Leak Following Truck Accident At Cummings Center Garage

Beverly Police and Fire are on scene at McKay and Glidden Streets, where a large truck reportedly crashed into a parking garage at the Cummings Center, dumping between 25-50 gallons of fuel. 

Initial scanner reports indicate the fuel from the truck is leaking, which is prompting the evacuation of the businesses in the same building. 

One person was reported injured, but scanner reports say the person is conscious and breathing. 

McKay Street is currently closed between Balch and Elliott Street. The city's building inspector has been called to the scene.
