Medication Disposal At North Beverly CVS Parking Lot Saturday
The North Beverly Shopping Center on Dodge Street is the city's site for National Medication Disposal Day.
BEVERLY, MA — The CVS parking lot at the North Beverly Shopping Center will be the city's site for this year's National Medication Disposal Day on Saturday.
The site will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the drop off of old and unneeded medications, vitamins, veterinary medications and narcotics.
Residents are encouraged to dispose of these items properly in order to keep them out of the hands of children and those who might use or sell them improperly. It is not advised that these items be thrown in the trash or flushed down the toilet out of the risk they can find their way into groundwater.
