Minor School Bus Accident Reported At Beverly High

The following is an excerpt from the Beverly Police log:Â
Wednesday, Nov. 7
- A school bus got into a minor accident in front of Beverly High School at 2:33 p.m. Reports stated the bus driver hit a parked vehicle, which left damage to the front portion of the car. No injuries were reported.Â
- A vehicle was reported stolen on Linden Ave at 3:16 p.m.
- A summons was issued for a shoplifter at the North Beverly Plaza at 4:28 p.m.
- A neighbor disturbance over loud music was reported on Rantoul Street at 4:49 p.m. Police reports stated the building manager had asked the tenants to quiet their music several times.Â
- At 7:12 p.m. police arrested Jonnha Jerome, 17, of 6 Echo Ave., on charges of simple assault.Â

- An ipad was reported stolen on Herrick Street at 9:04 a.m.
- At 2:54 p.m. police were called to Grant Street on report of 'wires pulled out by a yellow freight truck.' Police made contact with the freight truck company to fix the issue.Â
- Police were called to Lothrop Street on report of a suspicious car at 6:43 p.m. The caller said there appeared to be a leg hanging out of a vehicle. Police said it turned out to be a fake leg that hangs from the trunk of a car.Â
- A verbal domestic disturbance was reported on Story Avenue at 7:39 p.m.
- Police responded to Old Planters Road at 6:31 p.m. on report of a dog howling outside. Police spoke to the dog owners and they brought it inside.Â
- Police were called to Broadway at 10:54 p.m. on report of adults arguing loudly. The people in question were attending a birthday party and did not need assistance.Â
Friday, Nov. 9
- Police were called to Brimbal Avenue at 1 a.m. to check the well being of a taxi driver who appeared unresponsive. Police learned the driver was just sleeping.Â
