Motor Vehicle Backs into Parked Police Cruiser

Thursday, July 25

12:05 a.m. a caller reported a fire alarm and the smell of smoke in a a building on Cabot Street. The smoke smell came from burnt food. No fire was found. 

5:37 a.m. a motor vehicle break-in was reported on Folger Street. Sunglasses and a leatherman were stolen. 

9:55 a.m. jewelry was reported stolen from a home on Hillside Avenue. 

10:51 a.m. a past motor vehicle break-in was reported on Kernwood Avenue. 

3:36 p.m. a motor vehicle accident with no injuries was reported on Rantoul Street. 

3:47 p.m. a possible scam for copper piping was reported on River Street. 

6:58 p.m. a caller reported a window on Virginia Avenue that was shot out with a BB gun. 

11:58 p.m. a motor vehicle accident hit and runw as reported on Cabot Street. 

Friday, July 26

2:26 a.m. a caller reported stolen prescription medications on Fielder Street. 

10:42 p.m. a hit and run with property damage was reported on Rantoul Street. 

1:34 p.m. an accident involving a police cruiser was reported on Conant Street. A motor vehicle backed into a parked cruiser on Conant Street.
