Multiple Reports Of Mailbox Vandalism: Beverly Police Log

A lot of vandalism calls, an issue with a kiddie pool, and more from the Beverly Police log.

  • James Cloutman, 52, of Beverly, was arrested on charges of four counts possession to distribute a class D drug last Wednesday around 8:30 p.m. in the area of Cabot and Congress streets.
  • Police responded to a report of a mailbox that was put through the rear window of a vehicle on Cabot Street last Thursday around 6:30 a.m.
  • Officers responded to a report of vandalism to a vehicle on Landers Drive around 6:30 a.m. last Thursday, and found vandalism to multiple mailboxes.
  • Police responded to multiple reports of vandalism to mailboxes on Middlebury Lane and Landers Drive between 8 and 9 a.m. on Thursday.
  • Someone reported teenagers who tipped a basketball net onto a car on Andover Road last Thursday around 11:30 a.m.
  • A car was towed from Knowlton Street last Thursday around 6 p.m. after police responded to a report of a car parked in the middle of the street.
  • Officers responded to a report of kids riding dirt bikes in the street at Radcliff Road last Thursday around 8:30 p.m. Police found that it was all adults, riding in the yard.
  • Sandra Torode, 72, of Beverly, was arrested on charges of drunken driving and a marked lanes violation last Friday around 10 a.m. after a traffic stop in the area of McKay Street.
  • Kilton Joyce, 57, of Beverly, was arrested on charges of drunken driving, negligent driving, and violating a city ordinance regarding open containers after police responded to a car accident last Friday around 10:30 p.m.
  • Police responded to a report of a man sitting in a kiddie pool that wasn't his on Sohier Road on Saturday around 5 p.m.
  • Joseph Leon Eaton, 32, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of failing to stop for police, attempting to commit a crime, possession of a burglarious instrument, a number plate violation, possession to distribute a drug, resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer, reckless driving, possession of a class E drug, and three counts of violating a city ordinance regarding weapons after a U-Haul van failed to stop on Sunday around 3 a.m. in the area of Odell Avenue.
  • Rafael A. Breton, 37, of Lawrence, was arrested on charges on driving with a suspended license, speeding, and on a warrant after a traffic stop on Monday around 3 p.m. in the area of Boyles Street.
