George H. Rutter, Jr., 57, beloved husband of Lois (Wolfe) Rutter, passed away, Friday, May 29th at Beverly Hospital. Born in Salem, he is the son of Ruth (O’Shea) Rutter of Beverly and the late George H. Rutter, Sr.
George grew up in the Salem and Beverly area and attended Beverly Schools. For many years, he worked as a machinist, manufacturing marine products. George was a Civil War enthusiast, and often participated in Civil War reenactments.

In addition to his wife Lois of 33 years, he is survived by four brothers: Mark, Scott, John and Daren Rutter all of Beverly; one sisters: Patrice Khouri of Salem, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his sister Corinne Durkee.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Second Congregational Church, 35 Conant Street, Beverly on Friday at 11 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Arrangements by the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly. Information, directions, condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com.
