One Arrested in Beverly High Cafeteria Fight

The following is an excerpt from the Beverly Police log: 

Monday, Sept. 24

  • A hypodermic needle was found on a Rantoul Street sidewalk at 9:48 a.m. 
  • A vehicle was reported broken into on Chestnut Street at 1:09 p.m.
  • At 2:07 p.m. police were made aware of a car break-in on Bridge Street. 
  • A vehicle's window was reported smashed on Lothrop Steret at 7:32 p.m.
  • A vehicle was broken into on Enon Street at 7:33 p.m. Police reports stated a window was broken and a purse was stolen. 
  • Police were called to Cornell Road at 7:44 p.m. on report of suspicious solicitors. Police sent them on their way and advised them to check in with police before making sales. 
  • A vehicle was reported broken into on Enon Street at 8:11 p.m.

  • A fight in the Beverly High School cafeteria was reported to police at 11:48 a.m. Police arrested Fradelin Pimentel, 17, of 69 Sohier Rd., on charges of disturbing a public assembly, and assault and battery. 
  • Police were called to Route 128 North to check the well being of a person inside his/her vehicle at 12:38 p.m. The person told police he was just taking a nap. 
  • Police were made aware of items stolen from a porch on Bridge Street at 2:04 p.m.
