At 4:25 p.m., there was a report of the shoplifting of DVDs on Cabot Street.

At 7:52 p.m., a car was egged on Elliott Street.

At 12:13 a.m., there was a hit and run motor vehicle accident with property damage on Dodge Street.

At 12:42 a.m., there was a report of a loud party on Porter Street.

At 9:26 a.m., there was a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Enon Street.

At 11:16 a.m., there was a report of a violation of the city knife ordinance on Woodland Avenue.

At 12:06 p.m., there was a report of two men fighting on Cabot Street.

At 7:29 p.m., there was a report of a stolen package on Rantoul Street.

At 9:42 p.m., there was a report of neighbors arguing on Essex Street.

At 11:35 p.m., there was a report of an argument on Rowell Avenue. A brother and sister were having a verbal discussion over religion.

Sunday, May 8

Thomas N. Phillips, 33, of Franklin Place in Beverly was arrested on a warrant.

At 9:39 a.m., there was a report of a man causing a disturbance on Sohier Road.
