Over 9,000 without electricity in Beverly

National Grid is reporting over 9,000 people have been effected by recent rain storms pounding the area!

National Grid is reporting that over 9,000 Beverly Residents in the downtown area are without electricity due to today's severe storms that moved in just after 11:00am. The estimated return of electricity has been set for 1:45pm for most downtown areas.

Power outages are occurring in various parts of Beverly.
Please DO NOT CALL the police to ask about the outages.
If police services are needed call 978-922-1212.
9-1-1 is to be used for emergencies only.
