Residents Complain About Loud Honda, Police Issue 200 Parking Ban Tickets

The following is an excerpt from the Beverly Police Department:

Monday, Jan. 21

  • A neighbor dispute was reported on McKinley Avenue over a fence at 10:44 a.m.
  • Police were called to a Cedar Street residence on report of a 'deaf party banging on walls' at 7:58 p.m. Police said the person was advised to quiet down.
  • Police were called to Bennett Street at 11:35 p.m. on report of a 17-year-old who had taken an unknown quantity of drugs.

  • Police issued approximately 200 parking tickets due to the emergency parking ban.
  • Police were called to the area of Appleton and Prospect Street on report of a man looking into vehicles at 3:09 a.m. Police searched the area but did not locate anyone.
  • Police were called to Brimabl Avenue at 3:34 p.m. on report of a young man asking people for money. When police arrived, he was no longer there.
  • At 4:20 p.m. police were called to a Wayland Road business on report of an individua who walked into a business and starting asking people for money. Police transported him home and told him to stop panhandling.
  • At 4:56 p.m. police arrested Michelle Robichau, 24, of 23 Bayberry Ln. in Salisbury, on warrant charges.
  • A vehicle was broken into overnight at 5:05 p.m.
  • A man called police to report that his son had taken a walk and was possibly missing in the woods at 6:25 p.m. Police located the lost individual and brought him home.
  • A vehicle was broken into overnight on Madison Avenue at 7:45 p.m.
  • A black Diamondback Hybrid bike was reported stolen on Park Street at 9:16 p.m.

Wednesday, Jan. 23

  • At 4:28 a.m. police were called to the area of Lothrop Street and Wilson Avenue on report of residents complaining about a loud silver Honda operating in the area around the same time every day. Police did not observe the suspected vehicle at the time. 
  • A building under construction was broken into on Mill Street at 7:01 a.m.
  • A vehicle was reported stolen on River Street at 9:26 a.m.
  • Tools were reported stolen on River Street at 10:20 a.m.
