  • Someone found a stray Dachshund on Route 1 on Thursday around 10:30 a.m., and brought it to a veterinarian.
  • Officers rook a report of someone dropping fresh fruit onto a Goodale Street property nightly on Thursday around 3 p.m.
  • Officers responded to a report of a neighbor weed whacking near a car on Berry Street on Wednesday around 5 p.m.

SALEM

  • Police responded to a report of larceny last Thursday around 2:30 a.m., after rims and tires were stolen from a car in a First Street parking lot, leaving the car on cinder blocks.
  • Police responded to a report of a man wearing a traffic directing vest on Derby Square on Friday around noon, causing a disturbance.
  • Officers responded to a report of a cart full of items in Lappin Park on Washington Street on Saturday around 10 p.m., but the cart was gone when police got to the park.
  • Police responded to a report of a possibly drunk woman wearing purple, causing a disturbance in front of a Washington Street bar on Tuesday around 4 p.m.

  • Police responded to a report of a person loudly singing happy birthday on Ocean Avenue on Monday around 4 a.m. Officers spoke with the homeowner.
  • Someone reported a suitcase on the sidewalk on Monday morning that was still there after trash was picked up in the area of Washington Street. Police found it was a cooler.
  • A house on Stonybrook Road was reportedly egged, as discovered around 11 p.m. last Monday.

  • Police responded to a report of a someone possibly intruding upstairs in a Hillcrest Avenue home last Thursday around 9:30 p.m. Officers found a large skunk outside, trying to get into the trash.
  • Officers responded to a report of kids on the roof on Echo Avenue last Thursday around 10 p.m. Police didn't find any kids of any roofs.
  • Police responded to a report of a drunk man banging on an Elliott Street door last Friday around 7:30 p.m. The man had left before officers got to the scene.
  • Police took a report of a man putting mulch in a bag on Cabot Street on Sunday around midnight. Officers found that nothing appeared stolen.
  • Someone reported finding bones while digging in a Chase Street yard on Monday around 5:30 p.m.
