SCHEDULE: Beverly Athletes Compete in MIAA State Tournaments
A look at when Beverly High athletes will be competing in state championship games.

Beverly High's boys basketball, hockey, both male and female, plus gymnastics, have made it to state championship levels.Â

Boys Basketball
- Beverly (14-6) will compete against Lynn Classical on Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. in Beverly in the first round of the 2013 MIAA Boys Basketball North Division 2 tournament.
Boys Hockey

- On March 1, Beverly (18-1-1) will take on the winner of Tuesday, Feb. 26's game between Danvers and Somerville. Tuesday night's game will be held at Salem State at 7 p.m. On March 1, the game's time and location has not been announced.Â
Girls Hockey
- In the first round of the 2013 MIAA Girls Ice Hockey - Division 1 tournament, Beverly-Danvers will take on the winner of Medway-Ashland vs. Medford's game, which will be held on Feb. 27 at 8:15 p.m. Beverly-Danvers' game's time/location have not been announced.Â
Gymnastics
- This past Saturday, Beverly gymnasts competed in the MIAA Girls Gymnastics North Sectional Meet at Hudson High School, placing second. The top four teams from each sectional meet (Newton South, Beverly, Andover, and Chelmsford for North, and Barnstable, Sharon, Algonquin and Mansfield for South) will advance to the MIAA Girls Gymnastics State Championship Meet at the DCU Center on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m.
