Three Beverly Police Officers to be Recognized For Going 'Above and Beyond'

The awards recognition ceremony will be held June 6 at Bentley University.

Beverly Police Officers April Clarizia, John McCarthy, and Mark Panjwani will be recognized next month for going above and beyond their law enforcement duties in rendering medical assistance to a person in need.

This recognition exemplifies that Officer Mark Panjwani, Officer John McCarthy and Officer April Clarizia were able to demonstrate that their CPR/First Responder training was beneficial in saving a life.

These Officers are being recognized by The Statewide Advisory Committee for CPR/First Responders which falls under the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security and the Municipal Police Training Committee.

The awards recognition ceremony is set to be held at the MPTC CPR/First Responder Annual Conference June 6, 2014 at Bentley University in Waltham.
