Children’s laughter and thunderous applause to keep Tinkerbell alive, attest to the success of North Shore Music Theatre’s Peter Pan.
Elena Ricardo’s performance of the boy who wouldn’t grow up and the captain of the lost boys inspired us to crow along with him as we were transported to Neverland. The Islam of boys who had fallen out of their carriages, Captain Hook and his underlings and the politically correct Neverlander’s with Tiger Lily at the helm.
The Darling children portrayed by Kate Fitzgerald (Wendy), Jake Ryan Flynn (Michael) and AJ Scott as Michael were energetic and held the audience in awe as they shouted their happy thoughts as they rose to the rafters and flying towards the second star to the left.
The ensamples of the lost boys, Captain Hook (James Beaman) his band of pirates, and the Neverlanders, led by Victoria Byrd as Tiger Lily; kept the audience on the edge of their seats as The superb singing and dancing brought the audience to the island of Neverland and we became part of their adventure.
The scenery was perfect to the audience. The orchestra was phenomenal. A family adventure which will most definitely be a highlight of the summer. A must see!
