Touch-A-Truck Held In Beverly

The event is part of National Public Works Week.

The City of Beverly hosted its annual Touch-A-Truck event in the parking lot of Beverly High School on Sunday, allowing children and adults from the North Shore to get up close and personal with the city’s municipal vehicles.

Touch-A-Truck allows kids to get inside the heavy-duty vehicles, blow their horns and operate the blinking lights of everything from snowplows to street sweepers.

A trackless train was also on hand to give families a fun ride around the school’s parking lot.
