'Understanding Our Changing Earth from Space' Lecture in Beverly Tomorrow

Professor Stephen Young of Salem State University speaks as part of adult lecture series at Beverly Public Library.

Our world is currently in a period of rapid change. You've heard of global warming, perhaps global deforestation and/or global dimming. From satellites in space, we can see and detect some of the massive changes now occurring on Earth.

Join Professor Stephen Young of Salem State University on Monday, March 4th, 2013 as he takes us on a journey to space in order to look back at Earth and see it as a whole functioning globe.

The presentation runs from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. in the Sohier Room, main library, 32 Essex Street. Part of the"Monday Mornings" adult lecture series. Free; no registration required; handicapped accessible. Light refreshments served at 9:00 a.m.
