Warming Temperatures Mean Ice Risk In Beverly
The Beverly Fire Department are urging residents to stay off the ice as conditions likely become unsafe this weekend.
BEVERLY, MA — The Beverly Fire Department was out was out on the water doing its annual ice training recently.
The firefighters don't want to have to put that training to the test.
Beverly fire is using their training as a reminder to residents to stay off the ice as temperatures warm this week. After a three-week run of mostly below-average temperatures, the National Weather Service is forecasting temperatures near 50 on Wednesday and again on Sunday.

That means all ice conditions will be insecure in southern New England.
For the past couple weeks all members of the Beverly Fire Department have been doing our annual ice rescue training....
