What's Open, Closed In Beverly On Christmas Day
We have everything you need to know, including the trash pick-up schedule for the holiday week.

BEVERLY, MA — Beverly City Hall and all Non-Public Safety Offices will close at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 24 and be closed all day Wednesday for Christmas. They will also close at noon on Dec. 31 and be close all day Jan. 1 for New Years.
Trash will be picked up on Monday and Tuesday. For the remainder of the week, there will be a one-day delay (Wednesday on Thursday, Thursday on Friday and Friday on Saturday). Christmas Tree collection will be during the week of Jan. 6 this year.

Here's where it gets tricky. Many restaurants, retail stores, and grocery stores will be closed, but not all. Here are some details on a few to get you started:
Retail stores:
- CVS
- Christmas Eve: Most stores open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Christmas Day: Most stores open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (excludes stores inside Target).
Supermarkets:
- Shaw's/Star Market
- Christmas Eve: Most stores typically close a few hours early
- Christmas Day: Closed
- Trader Joe's
- Christmas Eve: All stores close at 6 p.m.
- Christmas Day: Closed
- Whole Foods
- Christmas Eve: All stores will have limited hours. Hours vary by location.
- Christmas Day: Closed.
