Falmouth Firefighters Rescue 9 Ducklings Trapped In Storm Drain

FALMOUTH, MA — Falmouth firefighters rescued nine ducklings that got stuck in a storm drain Monday evening.

Around 7:30 p.m., firefighters received a call that the baby ducks were trapped under the drain in front of the Estia Restaurant on Main Street. Firefighters removed the storm drain cover with the help of Assistant Highway Superintendent Mike Souza.

Firefighter Jonah Olsen then lifted the ducklings to the surface and reunited them with their mother.
