Falmouth Rotary Receives Presidential Award of Excellence

From The Rotary Club of Falmouth: At the recently held Multi District Rotary Convention in Providence, Rhode Island the Rotary Club of Falmouth received the Presidential Award of Excellence.

Presidential Award of Excellence is given to a Rotary Club that has demonstrated year round committed and dedication to meet specific criteria in the key areas of focus for

Rotary : Promote Peace and Understanding, Fight Disease, Provide Clean Water and Sanitation, Save Mothers and Children, Support Education and Grow Local Economies. Receiving the Presidential Award of Excellence is a reflection of the year round efforts the members of the Rotary Club of Falmouth have made to the different focus areas of Rotary to strengthen local and international community’s stated President Allan Wilson. “ The Rotary Club of Falmouth is indeed very grateful and honored to receive this award.”

Throughout 2016 – 2017 the Rotary Club of Falmouth has provide local scholarship assistance for music and woman sport participation, supported families of the military with food bank donations and activities for children of military personnel currently serving, supported international projects in Africa and Latin America, provided volunteer support and funding for Falmouth Volunteer’s in Public School along with many other public service efforts.
