What's Open (or Not) on Patriot's Day?

Patriot's Day is a state holiday in Massachusetts observed on Monday, April 15; it's also Marathon Monday.

Here's a run down of what's open/closed:

All municipal and state offices and facilities will be closed.

All MBTA buses and trains will running on a reduced weekend/holiday schedule.

Liquor stores: Open at the owner's discretion.

Gas Stations: Open

Gyms: Open

Retail, supermarkets and convenience stores: Open at the owner's discretion.

Restaurants and bars: Most will be open, but call ahead. It's up to the owner.
